In the spirit of the mission for Matter of Love Jewelry, I formed a nonprofit called Jewelry Alliance Initiative.
The idea is to bring the empowering process of creating jewelry to women and children living in shelters and orphanages around the world and letting their creations serve as a fundraiser to benefit their organizations.
The hope is they will feel the power of creating something from their imagination and recognize the potential to generate a profit from their creation. For some, it may unlock a new sense of agency, ownership, and the ability to redefine the limits they may have placed on themselves.
